LIUTAURAS MARKEVICIUS – CEO

 

In 1980 graduated from Vilnius University and acquired a degree in medicine. Four years later published a monograph named „Hospital infections in Vilnius hospitals“. Between 1985 and 1989 worked as a chief physician within the State food and veterinary service control of Utena district. During that time worked with the biggest food industry representatives and acquired profound knowledge and experience in the field of meat, dairy and non-alcoholic beverages production technologies.. He is also one the founders of the National Hotel and Restaurant Association in Lithuania. For a few years he was a chairman of the Examination Board in the Vilnius gastronomy school. Currently Liutauras Markevicius is actively involved in restaurant consulting business and writes articles for “Restaurant Business” magazine, website “Meniu.lt” and other publications. He has good connections with the food industry companies, pharmaceutical companies, various medical practitioners, as well as teaching institutions. Finally, throughout his professional experience he gained experience and built strong ties with Belarusian and Russian markets. 

 

MILDA PLECKAITYTE – MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE FOR SCIENTIFIC MATTERS

 

In 1990 Milda graduated from Vilnius University and acquired a degree in Chemistry. In 2006 she received a PhD in Physics. From 2003 to 2008 Milda worked for Pharmaceutical Research and Development Company Teva/Sicor Biotech R&D, Vilnius division. Between 1990 and 2003 and since 2008 she has been working as a senior scientist at the Vilnius University Institute of Biotechnology. Together with a group of colleagues she published several studies about research of bacterial infections and their origins. Due to her previous involvement with a gelatine import company, in 1997 she visited DGF Stoess factory complex.

 

JEVGENIJUS GORELIKAS –PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION

 

In 1975 graduated from Grodno Medical Institute. In 1990 he acquired a manual therapist qualification at the Kharkov Scientific Research Institute. He also has a certified qualification in medical fitness and sports medicine. Jevgenijus worked as a body building trainer as well as a nutritionist in the USA and Ireland. Moreover, he is an acclaimed body building selection trainer in Malta and Lithuania. Between 1996 and 2005 he was a vice-president of the Lithuanian body building federation. He himself is a multifold Lithuanian bodybuilding champion. At the moment Jevgenijus works as an anaesthesiologist and a reanimation specialist. He is the head of the weight management studio. In his spare time he also gives lectures, seminars and consultations in the field of anti-aging and weight correction.
